Bleed For You That Day

The outright bravery and strength it took
To sacrifice Yourself for all mankind’s sins
Was the greatest achievement
The world has ever seen
Tragically it wasn’t a dream
It was real, a Death today
That will forever resonant
That will forever be known and felt
As You washed away a world’s worth of sin
The blind and broken had new life
Not just new life, but hope again
And one nation of Believers
Stood tall once more
That day You broke the barrier
Between Heaven and hell
And like a well running over
We mourned Your Death
As You took You Last Breath
Rising like the wind
You rose to roll the stone away
With it You carried our sins away
If only somehow, someway I could of
